There are a variety of ways you can contribute and become a part of
Voices Without Borders, Inc. efforts.

Adopt A Star

A galaxy is how we represent the hundreds of children who make up the many ensembles of the festival. They light up our lives and truly are the bright stars of the future.

Unfortunately, some of these young stars may not be able to come to the festival because of the high cost of travel and the related festival fees which cover housing, meals, music, local transportation, t-shirts, social activities, etc. The cost per child is approximately $125.

For this reason, we are asking service organizations, businesses, and individuals to Adopt a Star of your own. In particular need are the children of the Oltoilo Loo Nkera Children’s Choir from Kenya and the Mongolian Children’s Dance Ensemble from UlaanBaantar, Mongolia who may not be able to come to the festival for lack of funds. You can help.

During the festival, think of the children singing, dancing and playing together and know that your contribution will have helped to bring an enthusiastic, grateful, and excited young participant.

Adopt A Choir

For an international choir festival of this scale to be successful, many things are required. Among the more important is to be certain that adequate funding is available to cover the costs of the meals, lodging and local transportation. We are fortunate that local businesses corporations and foundations have provided a significant portion of the required funds. Individuals have contributed as well. We do however, still have need for additional funds.

For this reason, we are asking service organizations, businesses, and individuals to Adopt a Choir. In particular need are the Oltoilo Loo Nkera Children’s Choir from Kenya and the Mongolian Children’s Dance Ensemble from UlaanBaatar, Mongolia. These choirs have need for funds to help pay the costs of their bus/van transportation from their arrival airport in the United States to the festival and return. In some cases, they also need one or two nights lodging and meals along the way.

The amount needed to adopt a choir depends on the size of the group. A suggested amount to host the choirs from Kenya and Mexico is $4,000 each. The suggested amount for the dancers from Mongolia is $2,500 and the amount for the singers from Vietnam is $1,000.

To Adopt a Choir, please send a check made payable to Voices Without Borders, Inc. This is a tax deductible contribution subject to IRS tax regulations.
