ABOUT VWB

Voices Without Borders, a non-profit 501c3, was founded in Petoskey in 2009. Its mission is to promote, support, and sponsor choral music, dance, and other related activities for young people in our schools and
communities throughout greater northern Michigan and to offer similar opportunities for children from
around the world who are invited to participate in VWB programs.

This summer will be the sixth time VWB holds the Festival in the Little Traverse Bay Area, and it will be
the 23rd such Festival held worldwide. In 2009, after producing 17 previous festivals in Asia, Africa,
North and South America, and Europe, the festival producers designated the Little Traverse Bay Area as
the permanent home of the Festival.

In addition to presenting the Children of the World in Harmony Festival, VWB sponsors the Little Traverse Youth Choir (LTYC) for Northern Michigan youth ages 7-19 years. LTYC offers unique international opportunities to its choir members, while celebrating the boundary-breaking joy of music!
